The Stat Fax 1904+ semi-automatic clinical biochemistry analyser is designed for preparing, reading and interpreting the results of biochemistry analyses. The apparatus has a built-in incubator and reading position. Samples are read using a bichromatic optical system with 6 filters.
The instrument software contains pre-programmed calculations for end-point and kinetic determinations

The machine can be programmed for the following types of analysis:
-end-point with standard or factor, multi-standard
-percentage or absolute standard
-kinetic (in pack or single) with standard or factor
Memory: permanent, possibility of storing up to 60 tests with all working parameters, calculations, linearity and normality ranges, standard values, calibration curves.
Minimum measurable volume:
- 1ml in test tube of d=12 mm
- 0.5 ml with Mosquito absorbent cuvette system
The analyser works in open system: any analysis can be programmed with any reagents, which can be read at (or close to) the mentioned wavelengths. The instrument can optionally be supplied with a Mosquito absorbent cuvette system, which reduces the reagent consumption used for one determination to 500 ul/analysis.
