The CAL 6000 is a complete haematology line, consisting of an automated haematology analyser (BC-6200 or BC-6000), an automated smear and staining machine (SC-120) and an automated cell morphology analyser MC80 linked together with a sample transport system and controlled by common management software. The whole system is operated via a touch screen, the software automatically optimises the distribution of samples to the BC-6200 or BC-6000 unit and decides which blood samples need to be smeared. At the same time it displays the status of each instrument, the transport line and monitors the status of all reagents.
Included in the standard CAL 6000 configuration is labXpert software for professional data analysis. The software can automatically perform analysis and validation of results based on user-defined criteria.
